When is tulip season in the Netherlands?
Tulip season typically runs from mid-March through early May, with peak blooming usually occurring in mid to late April. The exact timing varies each year depending on weather conditions.

Where do the tulip sessions take place?
Sessions take place at a special tulip farm in Amsterdam specifically designed for visitors, where you can actually walk among the tulips.

How far in advance should I book my tulip session?
As early as possible! Tulip sessions are some of my most popular and book out quickly. I already have reservations for 2026 season. Families travel from around the world for these sessions.

What should we wear for a tulip field session?
Light, spring colors work beautifully – whites, creams, soft blues, pastels, or even denim. Flowy dresses, light layers, and comfortable shoes are ideal since we’ll be walking through fields. I’ll send a complete style guide after booking.

What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
Dutch spring weather can be unpredictable! If there’s heavy rain or strong winds, we’ll reschedule to another date during the season. Light clouds or overcast skies actually create beautiful, soft lighting for photos. I always have backup dates available and stay flexible during tulip season.

Are there any additional costs or entrance fees?
The session fee covers my photography services and all edited photos. However, there is a separate entrance fee to access the tulip farm (approximately €7-10 per adult, children often free), which is paid directly at the location or by website.
