Maternity, birth and newborn photography questions
How much does birth photography cost in the Netherlands?
My Birth Story package is €1,195: on call from week 38, 100 edited photos and a lite album. You can add a birth video for €200. All prices include VAT and travel in the Netherlands.
Do hospitals in the Netherlands allow birth photographers?
Most hospitals and birth centres allow a photographer, and home births are no problem. Always check with your midwife or hospital, and I help you ask.
When is the best time for a maternity session?
Between 28 and 34 weeks, when your belly is round and you still feel comfortable. I send you a style guide, and you can borrow one of my dresses.
When should I book my newborn session?
Book during your pregnancy, around 30 to 32 weeks. We plan the session in the first 2 weeks after birth, when your baby is sleepy and curly.
Can I book maternity, birth and newborn together?
Yes! My From belly to baby bundle (maternity + newborn) is €550. Want birth photos too? Write me and we make your full story.
What if my baby cries or needs to feed during the session?
That is normal. Newborn sessions are baby-led: we pause, feed, cuddle and continue. There is no rush.
