Your trust matters to me. This page explains which personal data I collect, why, and what your rights are, following the GDPR (in Dutch: AVG).
Who I am
Ka Monge Photography, Katherine (Ka) Monge, Zoetermeer, the Netherlands. KVK 80885756. Email: info@kamonge.com. I am responsible for your data.
What data I collect
- What you send me through the contact form, email or WhatsApp: your name, email, phone number, your date and your message.
- Details I need to book and invoice: address, the session or wedding date, and payment information.
- The photos and videos I make of you and your family.
Why I use it
- To answer your questions and plan your session (to prepare and fulfil our agreement).
- To send invoices and keep my administration (a legal obligation).
- To show some photos in my portfolio and on social media, unless you tell me you prefer not.
I never sell your data, and I don’t send newsletters without your permission.
Who else sees it
Only services that help me work: my website host, my online gallery provider, my bank and PayPal for payments, WhatsApp or email for messages, and my bookkeeping tool. They may only use your data to provide their service.
How long I keep it
- Invoices and payment details: 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it.
- Messages from people who did not book: up to 1 year.
- Your photos: I keep a backup so I can help you if you lose them. You can ask me to delete them at any time.
Cookies
This website only uses the cookies it needs to work. I don’t use advertising cookies. Embedded content, such as videos, can place cookies from the platform it comes from.
Your rights
You can ask me to see, correct or delete your data, or to stop using it, for example for my portfolio. Write me at info@kamonge.com and I answer within a month. If you are not happy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch data protection authority).
