About Me
Hi, I'm Ka
Life Storyteller

Congratulations on this moment in your life.
Whether you’re getting married, expecting a baby, or celebrating a new chapter with your family, you’re here because this moment matters.
I‘m Ka, your visual biographer who values the messy, real, unposed moments that are worth keeping forever.
Authentic Moments
I capture genuine emotions and connections during your most precious moments. From birth to family milestone, creating timeless memories you'll treasure forever.
Comfort & Connection
I create a relaxed, trusting environment where you can be yourselves. Even if you're camera-shy, I help you focus on what truly matters, your partner, your family, your love.
Dutch Landscapes
I love showcasing the beauty of Netherlands through my lens, tulip fields, hyacinths, and iconic locations that make your photos uniquely Dutch and unforgettable.
Meet Me
I knew nothing about photography then - just that I wanted to learn.
Life brought me to the Netherlands, where I became a mother twice. My second daughter was born here during the pandemic, and that experience changed everything. It led me to train as a doula, combining my photography work with birth support in a way that feels deeply personal to both roles.
Now I do both - sometimes I'm your photographer, sometimes I'm your doula, and sometimes I'm both. I serve Spanish and English-speaking families across Rotterdam, Den Haag, Amsterdam, and the surrounding areas, documenting births, families, and weddings.
I'm a migrant mother who understands what it's like to navigate these moments far from home. I know the importance of having someone who not only speaks your language but truly gets what you're going through.
My approach is simple: I notice the small things - how you reach for each other, the pause before pushing, the way light falls across your face when you finally hold your baby. These quiet details become the images you'll treasure.
When I'm not working, I'm probably playing Nintendo with my daughters, watching series with my husband, or reading fantasy and romance novels. I miss cas frescos and tropical fruit from Costa Rica, but I've developed a serious appreciation for Spanish turrón de almendras. And I'm always up for cake and tea or coffee if you want to sit down and talk about your story - as colleagues or as friends.
